Lives were changed when Jesus was born. His birth was the biggest event in religious history. Not only that but his birth is significant because he was the only man known to be the son of God. Jesus was the new messiah (anointed one) and he was here to save us from our sins.
Through Jesus' life he had faced many people who didn't believe in him and who were horrible to him. But Jesus forgave them people and carried on preaching the word of God. Along his way he met many people and became friends with some of them. He had 12 important friends we still remember today. They are remembered as the 12 disciples. He met some of the disciples when they were out fishing. Jesus told them to follow him. They did, surprisingly.
Jesus sadly died around the age of 33. The night before he died he held a feast with all the disciples. He took some bread and broke it and gave a piece to each of them. He then said "this is my body given up for you." He did this again with the wine but this time it represented his blood. Jesus did this because he knew what would happen. Judas had betrayed him by going to the Romans who hated Jesus. Later on Jesus was arrested and crucified with 2 other criminals. Jesus died to save us from our sins.
